Department of Pharmacology at Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar, is a multidisciplinary department since it examines the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medications. The study of pharmacology is one of the core courses required of medical students since it teaches them how to apply their understanding of medications to solve problems. The KMU and PMC/PMDC introduced it into all MBBS years as part of the present modular structure.
