Education, the backbone of an enlightened society, has a variety of meanings and conceptual underpinnings in the annals of learning and human thoughts. Right from a man in the street to a talented writer, a qualified sociologist, a creative scientist or a genius philosopher, all have burnt their midnight oil in chalking out an educational system in order to fulfill the cherished requirements of that particular environ, and accomplish the desired goal of human development, both in mind and body.

Health is very important and essential requirement of any society, whether developed or developing. The adequate training of health care professionals and more so the provision of health service to the masses are very costly undertakings. That is why there is always shortage. The developed countries due to their better facilities attract these health professionals from the developing countries and due to their migration; there are always manifold shortage of health professionals in countries like ours.

VISION

Jinnah Medical College will be a leader in medical sciences for quality medical education and research for the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services.

MISSION

To train graduates in a learning environment that equip them with essential knowledge, skills and attitude for the delivery of compassionate healthcare, community health promotion and contextual research at national and international level.

OUTCOMES

by the end of mbbs program, the graduates of Jinnah Medical College Peshawar will be able to,

manage common diseases with precise diagnosis and recommendations of appropriate treatment.
accurately diagnose and manage admitted patients in hospital for better healthcare delivery to the community.
plan the referral of patients requiring a consultant opinion.
display teamwork attitude in the management of patients in a community and hospital setting.
promote and volunteer in community health prevention activities.

Our Story

Jinnah Medical College was the first ever private medical college, which followed the law of the land and has the honor of affiliation with Khyber Medical University of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since its inception. Since 2014, five Batches of MBBS have been passed out and have joined the cadre of provincial health services as house job officers and medical officers.
