Department of
Anatomy

The Department of Anatomy is considered the backbone of all preclinical and clinical subjects, includes gross, microscopic, developmental, and neuro-anatomy, all of which are taught in close integration with other basic and clinical subjects over a two-year period. This is accomplished through a variety of teaching modalities,
including large-group interactive sessions, small-group discussions, practical demonstrations, and dissection sessions, and problem-based learning sessions. The emphasis is on clinical aspects and knowledge application, with a balanced focus on cognition, psychomotor skills, and affective domains.
