Department Of Physiology
The Department of Physiology at Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar describes the normal functions of the major systems, namely cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine, and genitor-urinary, as well as their roles in maintaining internal homeostasis. It serves as a foundation for the study of all clinical subjects, particularly pathology and medicine. The first professional MBBS course in physiology includes theoretical discussion in the form of lectures, seminars, tutorials, and group discussions. The internet, audio-visual aids such as multimedia, and slide projections are used to make the lectures more understandable. The theoretical description is supported by the relevant practical procedure carried out in the well-equipped physiology laboratory, which meets the student’s needs.
