Department of Community Medicine is entrusted with grooming MBBS students joining Jinnah Medical College, Peshawar into well-rounded general practitioners with the motivation to shoulder social and community responsibilities as health professionals. The department is striving to inculcate seven-star qualities in young doctors. The subject aims to promote health and prevent disease through community participation, utilizing professional managerial skills, and conducting research. The curriculum of community medicine is in accordance with PMDC, HEC, and CPSP specifications for MBBS and FCPS students.
